Half of 2019 is already over and we’ve seen some great releases so far across all platforms. However, fans are eagerly waiting for some games that have been highly anticipated since their trailers were released.

Some of these games are exclusive to some platforms while others are available across all. So, let’s discover what’s in the store for the fans!

The Sinking City

Platform: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Expected Release Date: June 30

Detective stories always have an appeal on their own. Set in a dark and aloof village near a sea, the game has a strange appeal to it. The game is set in the timeline of 1920s and you will find numerous elements of steampunk in the game. In the game, you play the role of private investigator Charles Reed who is trying to unravel mysteries in the small town of Oakmont.

The Sinking City is full of mutated non-playing characters that you have to interact with. Not only this, but you’ll also find several other monstrous creatures hidden deep in the flooded terrain. Plus, you play the role of a detective so you have to find what’s going on without losing your head.

Super Mario Maker 2

Platform: Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has always come up with amazing versions of its renowned ‘Super Mario’ every now and then. This time they’re coming back with Super Mario Maker 2 on Switch, which will continue its legacy allowing you to create your own 2D levels.

All you need is some sense of creativity to get started. The Super Mario Maker was a big hit on the Wii U and 3DS platforms. Its popularity can be witnessed from the community forums, where active users still upload their designs and challenge one another.

In addition, to the tools available in the previous version, the new version has a ton of new course elements, characters, and features that are going to enthrall you for many months!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

You must be remembering the co-op styled arcade brawling in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance franchise. The game is coming back with its 3rd installment in the series, which is in fact, a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

So, get out there, grab the game, and start playing with your friends because you don’t want to miss the fun of playing with four Joy-Con controllers.

What adds to its awesomeness is the storyline which is relatively same to the Avengers: Infinity Wars where you have to beat Thanos and his evil army!

Wolfenstein: Youngblood 

Platform: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch

Expected Release Date: July 2019

Wolfenstein is back! Yes, and this time the action is double. The latest game in Bethesda’s Wolfenstein series follows Jess and Soph, the two daughters of B.J., the protagonist of the earlier parts.

The story follows from the point of view of the two daughters who are looking for their father, who has gone missing. Old fans of the game will find several similarities in terms of action, gore and gameplay. And yes, you get to kill loads of Nazis in this one too!

Control

PC, PS4, Xbox One
Expected Release Date: August 2019

Control is the latest game launched by Remedy Entertainment. In terms of gameplay, it’s definitely something out of the box! By combining elements of Max Payne and Alan Wake, Control gives a spooky yet action-packed feeling.
